This is a Link ANT-18 instrument flying trainer as used by the USAAF to train it's pilots in 1942.Snapped this at the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum in Flixton,Suffolk.

Very interesting HDR Martin, although I prefer a little more light smoothing these days.

Nice!! We are great HDR fans and agree with you - sometimes over the top is what we like ;)
We use Topaz as well to create a new twist on some images.
Great shot, like the texture!
