Drove past this and just had to go back for a shot.

Craig@Random Ramblings from Herts, United Kingdom

What a great find! Super post work as always too. I was chatting to some guys at Duxford a while back who had a whole host of WWII stuff and asked them where they find the space to keep it all, they said with all the jeeps and trucks etc that they also have!! I think I might just fit one in the garden ;)

Off to Duxford again today, classic car show but hey any excuse ;)

Tracey from Maryland, United States

Wow! I can see why. Great processing work...is it a true HDR or did you do this with processing only? Love it!

@Tracey: This is a single image, partly tone mapped Tracey. Many thanks for your comment :)

Dulcie from Danville, United States

Brilliant the way you've used camouflage colors throughout for this shot.
That just perfectly sets off the truck! :-)

very nice post work! Is it Topaz? I like it very much!!

2 Aug 2009 8:32pm

@zdenek: Thank you for your comment Zdenek. This is partly tone mapped but mostly just photoshopped.Topaz is far too expensive at the moment.Maybe when I get a job!!! :)

3 Aug 2009 12:13am

@Allan Clark: Thanks Allan. It's not quite the effect I had in mind, but the best I could do with my limited skills :)

Vanilla Wine from Las Vegas, United States

Very beautiful shot. Nice angel. Beautiful color composition. Maybe you could use your frame to capture a little bit of the house in the right side of the picture.

3 Aug 2009 2:09am

@Vanilla Wine: I agree about including more on the right but unfortunately there was a large post blocking the view of what is in fact a public house.Thank you for your keen observations :)

Illuci from Hurdegaryp, Netherlands

Vehicles like these liberated Europe. In Holland we have an association called "Keep them Rolling" who take care of maintenance of these original vehicles in our country.

@Illuci: Nice to hear they are still being looked after :)

Stewart Bywater from Peterborough, United Kingdom

Curly from South Shields, United Kingdom

I don't care for the white edges in some of your other work Martin, this one presses all of the right buttons!
